We are elected representatives and community leaders strongly supporting Michael Neil for HD 2

Former Representative and Veterans and Disability Advocate David Ortiz

Healthcare Advocate and Candidate for HD9 Monica VanBuskirk
State Representative Meg Froelich (D-HD 3)
Healthcare and Campaign Finance Advocate and Former HD 2 Candidate Owen Perkins
I have three friends I respect and admire running to represent me in the Colorado State
House, and while I wish them all well, I couldn’t be prouder than I am to support my
friend Michael Neil for State Representative in Colorado’s House District 2. Michael and
I go way back with our advocacy and activism, and having been in the trenches with him
for nearly 20 years, I can speak to his values, his
character, and his capacity to do the work of representing his constituents and moving a
progressive agenda forward for Colorado. There is no other candidate with Michael’s
experience in House District 2, and with both the county and state party, and I can’t
think of another Democrat I trust as implicitly as I trust Michael to be a bold, strong, and
unwavering voice for Colorado. Michael is the caring, empathetic, and visionary
advocate our community needs in these times. I urge you to join me in supporting
Michael at caucus this coming Tuesday, March 3 and throughout his campaign.

Youth, Labor, and Community Advocate and HD 31 Candidate Gabriel Cervantes

"Michael Neil is kind, empathetic, intelligent and incredibly experienced in the policy making work that the constituent of HD2 deserve. I believe he will approach every issue in front of him with the thoughtful perspective he has cultivated through years of advocacy, and I would be proud to continue working alongside him in the state house.”
